And the King said, "Let there be light..." or something! Here's the contents of my (three-box) package: Emerson Revealing Light. Largish flashlight with both florescent and incandescent bulbs and a blinker. Emerson Car Magnetic Emergency Light. Nice. Plugs into your car cigarette lighter and produces a high-intensity beam. Glow Wand. (Beginning to see a pattern here?) Battery-operated keychain strobe light. Neo-Glo keychain LED light Neo-Glo pocket strobe keychain light Neo-Glo Flash-Wear crystal pendant. battery op, changes colors. Cute. Yes, there are a few non-light-emitting items in the box as well... Coleman Laser Level with hard plastic case. Niiiiiice! Even has a tripod mount! Sunbeam Travel Ionizer UB Kool Personal mini-cooler and a whole bunch of "frame-a-lopes." - apparently a picture frame and envelope in one. All in all an interesting package. I like the Laser Level a lot - was gonna go out and buy one any way. I didn't really need any more flashlights after all of those shake lights, but I'm sure they won't go to waste. The rest of the stuff is mostly stuff I would use only occassionally or will give to my neice and nephew as gifts. All in all, not a bad box. Thanks, ThingFling! daobrats wrote:So was it worth $36 bucks? Easily. Although I guess it depends on how much of it you're gonna use. Doing some digging around, I came up with the following: U. B. Kool. $30 plus shipping. I couldn't find the Sunbeam ionizer for sale anywhere, but a similar model Sunbeam sold for about $15 shipped on Ebay The laser level is $22 shipped on ebay (and I can attest to its being sold for $30 at the Home Depot near me...I was looking at this and similar models just the other day) frame-a-lopes: no clue. But it looks like I got over two dozen of the things, so...say $6? I can't imagine they'd retail for less than 50 cents each. Emerson Revealing Light. $20 at Publisher's Clearinghouse, but they are always a bit on the high side. Emerson Car Magnetic Emergency Light. 10 bucks at PCH. The novelties I've seen sold for between 5 and 10 bucks apiece. You could probably find them cheaper if you looked. So all in all, you're talking a package value worth at least 3 times what you paid for it. Not too shabby. My Dragons need your help to hatch and grow! Please click on them!

I received mine today also. 1 small box , contained 2 plastic bags. Nothing is interesting, really. Honesty, comapared to my previous items I received in the past, this is the only time, I felt that the products are not great, at all. okay here is what I got. ( I think it is pretty much the same as the previously posted above, except that I bought 2 bags. 1 pocket strobe key chain 1. neogio key chain 1.NYC frame a lope - for your picture? 1. birthday frame a lope, 1.neogio crystal pendant 1. neogio gio wand key chain, 1 used UB kool-(does not work), and last thing is 1 sun beam travel ionizer. That is all. Nothing i can use really, except probably the ionizer?

I got pretty much the same as the first guy who posted. I wont use it all but I was impressed with what came. Once again the Mystery Box pleases me. I havent had a bad one yet for the money ive spent. In a way this is a bad thing because I will still always buy the mystery box when it comes up.
Which again brings up a question i have for myself. Why when i see an item a may be able to use that is in the 35 dollar range, I talk myself out of it, but when 35 dollars worth of items i have no idea what they are or if I need them comes up I do not hesitate to buy.
I am full of mystery weakness.

GodaiNoBaka, I got the same items in my 3 Mystery Bags! Here's a pic of what I got: The laser level is cool, and the 2 Emerson lights will be useful for the home and car. My girls will enjoy the light-up tchotchkes. The UB Kool poses an interesting question--Which one is better in a cool-off: the UB Kool or a Cool Downz? Thanks, ThingFling! --Stephen

I woke up and decided to check the UPS status on my order. UPS usually comes by my house in the late evening (6 or 7) and the status said DELIVERED. So I went to the porch and there was the box. It had all this in it: UB Kool - The permanent Ice CubeActually useful. I put batteries in it to see how well it works, and I think my mom would love something like this. Neo Glo - Super Brite LED Glo WandUseless. Neo Glo - Super Brite LED Keychain LightUseless. Neo Glo - Flash Wear Multi Colored Crystal PendantUseless and gay. Coleman Laser Level with CaseQuite useful. I don't have a laser level, so this will go well with the rest of my tool set. Emerson Magnetic Car emergency LightNot useful right now, but I will probably give it to my sister since her car breaks down so much. Emerson R Revealing LightAlways useful to have a flashlight/lamp around. Sunbeam Travel IonizerNot sure what it does or how to use it, but it sounds useful. =D Ton of Frame-a-lopesCompletely useless. Why the hell would I send a picture through the mail that I want EVERYONE at the post office to see? All in all, not worth the $36, maybe $20 though. 05/03/2007 - 02 - The Almost Mystery Bag, NOT, Part II - The Legend Continues 06/18/2007 - 01 - Manic Monday Mystery - 5 Miscellaneous items only $3.99 06/26/2007 - 03 - The Mystery Bag - Only $11.99

I feel robbed, I ordered four bags hoping that I would get two of whatever the best one was. I know they said that if you got more than three there would be duplicates but NOWHERE did thingfling say that if I ordered four it would be four of the same bag. Not only that, I got four of the one I was least excited about after reading the contents: that stupid Ionizer thing. This was my first fling and you can bet it will be my last!!!

I received the UB-Kool, New York themed mailing frame, plus glow pendant and keychain. I have no use for any of it but my niece will like the glowing things I am sure. Maybe everyone would be happier if they received a few tabs of E with their glowlights.
Also received my six-pack of Cooldownz today. Works OK but came in some heinous colors and patterns. Navy, which is the one I will use, pink, American Flag, psychedelic and two pink butterfly/flower patterns. The crystals tend to bunch up. They should have made the little quilted pockets smaller or jammed more crystals in it. I am just I did not order when they were selling them two dozen at a time!
The best thing about ThingFling is that the shipping is always included. I don't know how many times I canceled orders on one of these deal sites because it was as much as the product. Also, the MB stuff may not be great but I have received some absolute garbage, literally, from some other vendors. Overall, I am a happy Flinger.

Ok, um, yeah. I'd be upset if I got that, esp. with them saying there are three different ones.
Foul!

If you read it, they said if you order more than 3, you will have duplicates. It never said "You will get three different ones and another bag".
