Elegance and Practicality built into one!

Elegant contemporary styling and metal construction combine in the multifunctional and distinctive Maverick CL-908. In the timekeeping mode, the three circular LCD panels show (top to bottom) the time, the ambient temperature, and calendar information (year, day, month, and date). You can select either °F or °C for the temperature display and 12-hour or 24-hour as the displayed time format. Also, you can choose any of the 13 major cities indicated on the base of the clock to represent your home time zone. Once you set your home time and calendar data, you simply hold the body and rotate the base ring of the CL-908 to any of the other 12 cities to get time and calendar data for that city's time zone. Additional operating modes include the alarm mode (for setting alarm time) and countdown timer mode. Calendar information for the selected city/time zone is displayed in the bottom LCD panel in all modes. A desktop clock which looks great on a table, desk or shelf. Great father's day or graduation gift. Retails for as high as $35.99. One website has it for $16.99 but with shipping the cost to you would be more like $30.00. THING FLING price is $9.99.

Don't be sorry, it's under the description tab.
"First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then flingest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

The CL-908 is powered by two AAA (1.5V) batteries. These are included and preinstalled. To power up the clock, you simply open the battery compartment and remove the insulating strip from one battery terminal.

Sellout.woot.com has this for $5.99 + 5 shipping!

I'm in total shock!

I thought Thing Fling prices could never be beat!

I purchased mine from woot, But were not branded by maverick.

Still using the same batteries. Worst feature of an alarm clock is that there is no snooze or light on the unit. But who sleeps anymore Whistle
