Two Altec Lansing inMotion IMX2 Portable Speaker Dock
2 Brand New IMX2 - Great for XM Satellite Radio, MP3, iPod etc...

Great for Satellite Radio, MP3, iPod and CD Player

This is one of these deals that both ThingFlingers and Retailers should jump at. We will send you 2 IMX2 for less than a price of 1.

Altec Lansing inMotion IMX2 Portable Speaker. This speaker is multifunctional. Although designed for XM2GO satellite radio receivers (including Delphi Myfi, Pioneer Airware or Tao receiver), the speaker is equipped with an auxiliary input that connects to a second device such as a MP3, iPod, Cd or DVD player. Its great for satellite radio owners and everybody else with portable audio electronics. The speaker has a rugged, shock resistant design and is ideal to use anywhere - your home, your office, your garage, your car. The IMX2 system also has a charging system for your XM2GO receiver.

The unit includes a home antenna cable adapter, 3.5 mm stereo cable, power supply, protector case, instructions and, of course, the portable speaker system. Oh yes, I almost forgot, the sound. This system promises you high quality crystal clear sound and quality bass. You won't be disappointed. Retails from $22.00 plus $5.49 shipping.

ThingFling price for 2 is $15.99 plus shipping. That is cheaper than the lowest price we found for 1 unit.

  • Sound: An amplified extension of your XM2go receiver, the iMotion iMX2 replaces headphone listening and delivers high quality, crystal-clear sound.
  • Mobile: The compact, lightweight speaker system that goes just about anywhere you want to listem to music.
  • Charged: The iMotion automatically recharges your XM2go receiver when plugged in an docked
  • Unplugged: The iMotion iMX2's long battery life gives you complete freedom.

Nice pic from PriceGrabber:
"First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then flingest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

I wonder how big this is? Pictures can lie sometimes. Does anyone know? I would like to be able to play this loud using my iPod in a big room.

Updated:
I guess the specs answers it:
Folds to close at 8.4" deep, and 5.2" high;

I got these the 1st time around, I wasn't sure the sound quality and how big or small this little burger is, but for only $9.99 each, there was really nothing to lose. So when I got the speakers and I plug it in with my Creative Zen:M 30G, the sound is AMAZING!.. I was like.. no way.... this little S.O.B. can put that much power out into those speakers.. SH*T I was happy and crank it up, the higher you go there is a small rumble, could because the MP3 player is at Max. Volume or something but still this little burger ROCKS! big time.

Since that purchase I have been watching ThingFling.. like forever and haven't seen it back, contact and they didn't have anymore left and might get some more in the future. Well now the future is here LOL...

My friends love this Freakin speakers, great for laptops (just plug it into the headphone jack), Great for MP3 players, very portable, comes with charger and can be used with 4 AA batteries and all in a cool bag.

I'm in for 3 (6 total) you cannot find these for $9.99 each anywhere. Most will go to gifts for family and friends, plus I need an extra one for my laptop.

Thanks ThingFling for bringing these back! WooHoo!

Here's mine... (see below, hook up to my Zen Player)

Boxes were brand-new, not even dusty, but did have the original seller's tag on. (won't spill the beans but around here the store is gone.)

Flung this for hubby and daughter, who both received new portable electronics. Hubby opened his and wow -- for such a small speaker set, very impressive. He also liked that it ran on batteries or via AC plug. Will come in very handy for our camping trips.

Nice fling, King and Queen!!Applause

I got one of these and am very pleased. Tempted to get more.

One thing no one has mentioned is that it will shut off automatically if it is not receiving a signal. If it becomes unplugged, the batteries will not run down. If the MP3 player shuts off, these will also in about 10 minutes.
