Presenting one more extension of Altec Lansing inMotion line. The inMotion IM5, a 4-watt (RMS) portable speaker system that doubles as a charging dock. For a small portable, the IM5 is pretty standard, but it has some very nice amenities—like outputs for both video and, most notably, for a subwoofer—and a sturdy, compact design.

The system is also easily portable and shock-resistant, with good sound quality at lower volumes. The design is certainly unique. When you press the silver button in the middle of the gray metal speaker grille, the spring-loaded dock pops out from the bottom. The grille covers four 1.1-inch drivers that put out 2 watts per channel. Rubberized power and volume buttons are on the top, and a rubber flap covers ports on the back, which include composite video output (for sending video and photos to a TV), auxiliary audio input (for using the speaker with non-iPod audio devices), a subwoofer output, and the DC power input. On the back of the dock is a slot for a cable so that you can sync your iPod and computer without taking the player out of the IM5.

Fits, syncs and charges all dockable iPod and iPod mini players.

The lowest price found on web is $43.99 plus shipping with a total of $50.00.

THING FLING price is only $19.99 (50% of the lowest price found) . Thats a deal!

I don't know about this one specifically, but the InMotion IMMINIX does and sounds great, so I imagine this one will as well.

It looks like it has multiple plugs. If it does this would be perfect for my trip to Europe in a month; does anyone know if it does?

It should. I got the MINI one and it has the same 4 plug adapters pictures with this one.
